Swiftwater Rescue

Practice situations that may occur on the river, such as strainers and boat recovery.  Be prepared by learning to use throw ropes, stabilization lines, and V-lowers for for immediate rescue.  This class is also designed to teach you self-rescue skills and build confidence in your own paddling.  Learn the basics of taking care of yourself and your group.  Great for trip leaders and guides.  We can also tailor this class to your local fire and rescue needs.  Instruction available before and after scheduled season.
